Numbers don't lie but liars do use numbers. Posted by: Don Jackle on April 8, 2005 10:02 AM The only sham is FAIR's statement about the poll. Having read the poll myself, it is more comprehensive than FAIR suggests. Everyone should be encouraged to read the report of the poll themselves. They would see that FAIR's statement in no way represents the poll. Posted by: Tim on April 8, 2005 11:20 AM Ralph, I just visited www.immigrationforum.org/ and read the question from the poll. They asked "Do you think illegal immigrants who are living and working in the United States now should be offered a chance to keep thier jobs and eventually apply for legal status, or do you think they should be deported back to their native country?" This is exactly the choice FAIR said they offered. How is this a sham? Posted by: Bill Dexter on April 8, 2005 11:56 AM Tim, Posted by: takncarabizniz on April 9, 2005 12:30 PM |
