The only sham is FAIR's statement about the poll. Having read the poll myself, it is more comprehensive than FAIR suggests. Everyone should be encouraged to read the report of the poll themselves. They would see that FAIR's statement in no way represents the poll.

As an average american I am more concerned about healtcare, gas prices rising, cost of living rise than immigration.
I however totally support a comprehensive immigration reform.A reform which does not separate families of USC,take children's parents away etc.
It seems many organization like FAIR do not have a sense of family values. To them as long they can deport that mother or father is a mission accomplished. Is this fair,FAIR?

Ralph, I just visited www.immigrationforum.org/ and read the question from the poll. They asked "Do you think illegal immigrants who are living and working in the United States now should be offered a chance to keep thier jobs and eventually apply for legal status, or do you think they should be deported back to their native country?" This is exactly the choice FAIR said they offered. How is this a sham?

Tim,
Have you ever stopped to think about how the costs of illegal immigration are fueling rising costs of living, more strain on taxpayers, collapsing infrastructures? It's all connected, my friend. While a few fat cats at the top are getting rich, the rest of America is taking a dive. We have the right to clean air, clean water, safe streets, good education, decent wages, access to healthcare and proper use of our tax dollars. Billions are spent just trying to keep up with taking care of illegals while the res of us go without. Think about it before you decide that your priorties are not directly connected to illegal immigration.
