New Connecticut DMV Head Promises to Fight Fraud


"Lt. Col. Ralph J. Carpenter, a 25-year law enforcement veteran, will lead the Department of Motor Vehicles amid a widening scandal into fraudulent driver's licenses," according to the Stamford Advocate. "With the DMV on the front lines of homeland security, I will redouble our efforts to safeguard the sensitive information and documents that the department maintains and ensure their integrity," Carpenter said.
