FLAKE TO INTRODUCE AMNESTY BILL DISGUISED AS GUEST WORKER PROGRAM

Congressman Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) is expected to introduce a bill "that would give every one of the estimated 7 million illegal immigrants living in the United States a chance to apply" for guest worker status, reports the Yuma Sun. The legislation would also make an additional 300,000 guest worker visas available each year to Mexicans seeking work in the U.S. Flake denies that his proposed legislation is an illegal alien amnesty. However, an illegal alien amnesty is exactly what Flake is proposing, says FAIR. "If it walks like an amnesty and quacks like an amnesty, it's probably an amnesty," commented FAIR spokesman Ira Mehlman in the Yuma Sun.
