DOUGLAS CITY COUNCIL PANS MILITIA IDEA


The city council of Douglas, Arizona adopted a resolution in opposition to the “creation, operation and support of armed militia and vigilantes,” the Arizona Daily Star reports. The move was in response to a call by the editor of the Tombstone Tumbleweed for the formation of a citizens’ militia to defend the border.
