INDIANA TWEAKS LICENSE LAW

The Indiana DMV says it will revise new driver's license requirements so legal immigrants will be able to get driver's licenses. Pro-illegal immigration groups were threatening a lawsuit over the changes, in order to use the pretext of denying legal immigrants licenses as a means to overturn the changes and return to a situation favoring illegal aliens. "The more stringent rules were intended to prevent identity fraud and to tighten up Indiana's relatively lax requirements," the Evansville Courier Press reported.
